How to use

Find and copy special characters — arrows, maths symbols, currencies, brackets, units. Search by name or by code point such as U+2192, and collect several characters to copy in one go. Everything happens inside your browser.

When to use it

  • Dropping → ± ℃ ※ into a document or a chat.
  • Typing a currency sign your keyboard lacks (₩ € £ ¥).
  • Checking and copying the character at a specific code point.

How to use it

  1. Search by name (arrow, check), by pasting a character, or by code point like U+2192.
  2. Narrow things down by category; categories fold away when you do not need them.
  3. Click a character to copy it instantly and add it to the tray below.
  4. Collected several? Press Copy all to take them together.

Good to know

  • Characters are copied exactly as they are — no font tricks, no lookalike substitutions.
  • Each character shows its code point (U+XXXX), which is how you tell two identical-looking characters apart.
  • Some characters appear as empty boxes on devices whose fonts lack them. Seeing it on your screen does not guarantee your reader will.
  • Your search terms are never sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

It shows as a box after pasting.

The font on that device does not include the character; the character itself copied correctly. For a wide audience, stick to widely supported symbols such as →, ※ or ℃.

Several characters look identical.

Unicode is full of lookalikes — hyphen -, minus −, em dash —. That is exactly why the code point is shown. For code or data, always check it.

I cannot find the character I need.

If you know the code point, type it as U+2460 to jump straight to it. Emoji live in the emoji tool, face characters in kaomoji, and decorative text art in the text picture tool.

How do I copy several at once?

Every character you click is added to the tray at the bottom. Collect what you need, press Copy all, and use Clear to start again.
