Ads & Cookies
There are currently no ads on this site. Advertising may be introduced to keep the service free; this page will be updated to match the live configuration before that happens.
Google advertising
Google and third-party advertising providers may use cookies, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads and help prevent fraud or repeated impressions.
Personalized advertising
If personalized advertising is enabled, the use of relevant cookies and technologies is disclosed here. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
Regional consent
Where consent is required by law, including applicable EEA, UK, and Swiss requirements, PlainToolkit will follow the applicable consent-management requirements. Where appropriate, ad requests may be non-personalized.
Where things stand today
As of today there is not a single ad on this site. The ad script itself is not loaded, so no advertising company sets cookies here or follows visitors around. On the day ads are switched on, this page is updated to match the live configuration first.
Where ads would go
Ads are kept clearly apart from search results, download buttons and calculate buttons. None sit inside the work area; they appear only where the work is finished, below the result and below the explanatory text. Each slot is labelled "Advertisement", and the slot under the result is spaced away from the buttons and separated by a thin rule.
Ads load after the content so they cannot delay the page, and while ads are off the slots take up no space at all.
Cookies and local storage
PlainToolkit itself aims to minimize reliance on cookies and local storage; today it keeps only your theme and language choice in the browser. Third-party advertising or analytics services may use their own storage technologies when actually enabled.
Visitor statistics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not identify individuals, and never includes what you type into a tool. The privacy policy describes this in detail.
Turning off personalised ads
Personalised advertising can be turned off in your Google account ad settings or in your browser. Ads still appear, but they are no longer based on your interests. Questions about advertising go to contact@plaintoolkit.com.
