Which tool do I need?

Working with text splits into finding characters (symbols, emoji) and changing text (case, encoding, styling). 8 tools cover both, and what you type is never uploaded or stored.

  • To find and copy a character: special characters (searchable by code point), emoji, kaomoji, text art.
  • To tidy text: the text toolkit — counts, case, duplicate lines, sorting, comparison, encoding, JSON.
  • To make it stand out: Unicode styles (15 looks), big ASCII text.
  • To turn a photo into characters: photo to text art, mapping brightness onto character density.
Some characters paste as empty boxes.

The font on that device lacks them; the character itself copied correctly. For a wide audience, stick to widely supported symbols.

Why can non-Latin text not be styled?

Unicode simply has no bold or script forms for those scripts — they exist only for Latin letters and digits. Substituting lookalikes would change the text, so unsupported characters are left exactly as they are.
