Which tool do I need?

2 tools for checking the device you are on and how you are connected. They read only what the browser reports, and nothing is stored.

  • PC info: browser, operating system, screen size, pixel ratio, logical processors, graphics device, language, time zone.
  • My IP address: the public address your traffic leaves from. Never stored.
  • Deliberately absent: RAM and storage size, manufacturer and model, IP-based location — none of them are reliable.
  • When reporting a problem to support, copy all from PC info is the quickest way to describe your setup.
Why no CPU model or RAM size?

Browsers do not report them accurately. Memory is capped at 8GB, so 16GB and 32GB look identical, and storage, manufacturer and model are not exposed at all. Showing a wrong value would be worse than showing none.

Why no location for my IP?

IP-based location is frequently wrong, often pointing at carrier equipment hundreds of kilometres away. Presenting a guess as fact is not something this site does.
