Emoji look slightly different on every device and app. What you copy here is the character itself. Your search is never sent to a server.
How to use
Find an emoji in any of four languages and copy it with one tap. "cat", "ねこ" and "猫" all land on the same result, and you can paste an emoji in to see what it is called. Search terms never leave your browser.
When to use it
- Finding the right emoji for a message or a post.
- Searching by name for something buried in the keyboard picker.
- Identifying an emoji somebody sent you.
How to use it
- Type into the search box in Korean, English, Japanese or Chinese.
- Narrow by category — faces, gestures, animals, food, activity, places, objects, symbols.
- Tap an emoji to copy it immediately.
Good to know
- Emoji look different on every platform. The same character is drawn differently on iPhone, Android and Windows. What you copy here is the character, not a picture.
- Recently added emoji may show as empty boxes on older devices.
- Where skin-tone or gender variants exist, the base form is listed.
- Nothing you type is recorded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
The emoji looks different on my friend's phone.
An emoji is a character; the picture comes from the device maker. That is why the same character looks different on iPhone and Android — nothing was copied incorrectly.
I see an empty box.
That device's font does not include the emoji yet, which happens with recent additions. Sticking to well-established emoji avoids it.
Do I have to search in English?
No. Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese all work and reach the same results — "heart", "ハート" and "爱心" all find the same emoji.
