Copyright & Content Policy
PlainToolkit aims to use code, libraries, fonts, icons, images, and other materials only where their licenses permit the intended use.
Original content
Unless otherwise stated, PlainToolkit manages its interface, descriptions, and calculation logic.
Open-source and third-party materials
Open-source libraries and third-party materials remain subject to their respective licenses. Materials with unclear licensing are not intentionally used.
Open-source license notices
This site ships open-source code that runs in your browser. The license texts and copyright notices those licenses require are reproduced verbatim in the file below.
Font licences
Every font this site serves is published under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The full licence text and each font’s copyright notice are kept in the file below.
Where the data comes from
Outside data is used only where the licence is clear. City and country coordinates come from Natural Earth (public domain); country names, currencies with their decimal places and subdivision codes from Unicode CLDR (Unicode License); dialling codes from libphonenumber (MIT); IBAN lengths from ibantools (MIT). Top-level domains are derived from the ISO codes and only cross-checked against the official IANA list.
Material with unclear terms is not used. Everything checked is recorded in the repository licence log with the date and version it came from.
Icons and design
Every icon on the site is an SVG drawn for this project. No ready-made icon font is used, and no design, wording, image or data is taken from another site.
