How to use
Repeats one business-card or label design at its real size across a sheet. Cell dimensions are set in millimetres, so the result matches the label stock you actually have. The design stays in your browser.
When to use it
- Printing and cutting your own business cards.
- Matching a commercial label sheet, such as address labels.
- Running off multiple copies of the same sticker.
How to use it
- Choose one design; every cell gets the same image.
- Pick a preset size, or type the cell width and height in millimetres.
- Set the paper, orientation, outer margin and gap. The number of cells per sheet is shown as you go.
- Turn on cut marks if you want them, then save as an image.
Good to know
- Measuring your own labels with a ruler beats the manufacturer's figures. Two sheets both called "business card" can differ by a millimetre or two.
- The tool reports how many more fit if you swap width and height, so you can see at a glance which orientation wins.
- If the design would be cropped, you are told what percentage beforehand.
- Cut marks live in the outer margin only, so trimmed cards carry no lines.
- Print at 100% scale (actual size) or the dimensions will not match.
Frequently asked questions
How do I line up with label stock exactly?
Measure the sheet yourself rather than trusting the listed size, enter the cell size, margin and gap, then test-print on plain paper and hold it against the labels. One sheet of paper saves a sheet of labels.
The print creeps out of alignment.
Printers grip paper slightly differently. Adjust the outer margin by a millimetre or two and confirm the print dialog is set to 100% scale.
Can each card carry different text?
This tool repeats one design. For different content per cell, use the image sheet layout and supply a different photo for each.
How do I make the design?
Use a PNG from the nameplate maker on this site or any design tool. For print, build it at 300DPI — the paper/DPI/pixel tool tells you the pixel size you need.
