In the print dialog keep scale at 100% and margins at "default" to get true A4 size. Choosing "Save as PDF" in the same dialog gives you a file.
Choosing landscape sets the print dialog to landscape as well. If the preview still looks portrait, switch the direction in the print dialog.
Everything is worked out in your browser; what you type is never uploaded or stored.
How to use
Enter when the first period starts plus the lesson and break lengths, and you get a timetable with the times of every period worked out, ready for A4. You choose how many days and periods; the subject cells are left blank to fill in by hand. Nothing you type is uploaded.
When to use it
- Making a term timetable with the times of each period.
- Laying out a tutoring or study schedule by day and time.
- Any grid that needs a time column, such as a shift rota.
How to use it
- Choose the number of days (5, 6 or 7) and periods.
- Enter the start of the first period and the lesson and break minutes. Every period gets its times at once.
- Press Print · Save as PDF and write the subjects in afterwards.
Good to know
- Period times stack lesson + break. If there is one long break such as lunch, it is quicker to write that one in by hand.
- Periods that would run past midnight are not drawn. Starting at 23:00 with five 40-minute periods crosses into the next day, so it stops there and draws only what fits.
- Subject names are not filled in. They differ by class and change mid-term, so writing them by hand is faster than correcting them.
Frequently asked questions
How do I fit lunch in?
The break applies equally to every period. For a single long break such as lunch, it is simpler to make the morning periods, print, and write it in — or to make two sheets, morning and afternoon.
The period times differ from my school.
Change the first start time and the lesson and break minutes to your own, and the rest follow. For example 08:40, 50-minute lessons and 10-minute breaks.
Can I include Saturday and Sunday?
Choose 6 or 7 days and those columns appear. The weekday names are written in the language you are reading.
Could the subjects be filled in for me?
The cells are left empty. Subjects differ by class and change during term, so writing into blank cells is faster than correcting wrong ones. The period times are calculated for you.
