In the print dialog keep scale at 100% and margins at "default" to get true A4 size. Choosing "Save as PDF" in the same dialog gives you a file.
Choosing landscape sets the print dialog to landscape as well. If the preview still looks portrait, switch the direction in the print dialog.
Everything is worked out in your browser; what you type is never uploaded or stored.
How to use
Give each task a name and a start and end date, and you get a schedule drawn as bars, ready for A4. It suits anything where who runs from when to when has to be visible at a glance — a build programme, a project plan, a trip. Nothing you type is uploaded.
When to use it
- Putting a build or project programme on the wall.
- Seeing at a glance where several jobs overlap.
- Having something on paper to talk around in a meeting.
How to use it
- Set the start date and the number of days (1–62). The scale is drawn to match.
- Give each task a name, start and end. Up to six rows fit on a sheet.
- Press Print · Save as PDF.
Good to know
- Tasks reaching outside the table are drawn cut off, and the screen says so. Dropping the overflow would make the work look shorter than it is.
- If the end date falls before the start, the bar is not drawn and not silently swapped. We do not pretend to fix what was entered wrongly.
- Weekend columns are tinted. Public holidays are not marked — they differ by country and change every year.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to a task that runs past the range?
It is drawn to the edge with a squared-off end to show it continues, and the screen says it was cut. To see all of it, raise the number of days or move the start date back.
Can I add more than seven tasks?
Six rows fit on one sheet. For more, split the period across two sheets, or combine tasks that belong together into one row — it usually reads better too.
Can the scale be weeks instead of days?
Only days for now. You can stretch to 62 days, but beyond that the columns get too narrow to read. For a longer programme, split it across several sheets.
Can I change the colour?
The bars are black only. Black prints clearly, and using colour to carry meaning loses that meaning the moment the sheet is printed in black and white.
