Round or square seals as transparent PNG

Settings

TypeA registered Korean corporate seal must fit a square larger than 1 cm and no more than 2.4 cm (Commercial Registration Rules). Check the current rules and your registry office before filing.

Text that runs around the outer edge of a round stamp. Leave it empty to give the centre text more room.

Use line breaks for multiple lines (up to 4).A name stamp looks best with 1–4 characters. For four, split them into two columns with a line break — vertical columns read right to left.

More — fine-tune sizes and spacing

The defaults already produce a stamp; open this only if you want to adjust it further. Greyed-out fields do not apply to the shape or settings you chose (for example circle-only fields, or fields controlled by auto-fit).

Type some text and the stamp appears.

Saved as a PNG with a transparent background, so it sits cleanly on top of a document. Everything is processed in your browser and never uploaded or stored.

How to use

Creates a seal or name stamp as a PNG from the text you type. Pick a circle, oval, square or rounded square, then set the typeface, size in millimetres, border thickness and the spacing of the text around the rim. The background is transparent, so it lies cleanly over a document. Everything is processed in your browser.

When to use it

  • Producing a company seal image for contracts and confirmations.
  • Making a personal name stamp for paperwork.
  • Drafting a design before ordering a physical stamp.

How to use it

  1. Choose the shape — circle, oval, square or rounded square.
  2. Type the rim text (which runs around the outside) and the centre text, where line breaks give up to four lines.
  3. Set the typeface (six, including brush and seal styles), the size in millimetres, the border thickness, the text sizes, raised or recessed carving, and the colour.
  4. Refine while watching the preview, then press Download PNG.

Good to know

  • The file is a transparent PNG, so no white box appears over your document.
  • If the text would run outside the stamp you are warned first. Rim text can occupy about five sixths of the circle.
  • A personal stamp reads best with one to four characters. Four look most authentic split into two columns, read right column first.
  • This tool produces an image file; it is not a registered seal and carries no legal standing of its own.
  • The names you type are stored nowhere.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have a physical stamp made from this?

Send the PNG to a stamp maker as a design. The size is set in millimetres, so the real dimensions carry over. For an officially registered seal, check the rules of the relevant authority and the maker first.

It says the rim text is too long.

Text that circles the whole rim collides at the start and end and becomes hard to read, so about five sixths is the limit. Shorten the text, enlarge the stamp, or reduce the rim spacing.

Which typeface should I choose?

A heavy serif reads most like a traditional seal and suits company stamps. Lighter serifs work well for personal names, and the sans-serif feels modern — a good fit for internal approval stamps.

Can it look like real ink, with smudges?

Yes. Set Ink look to "stamped (uneven ink)" and the mark gets the mottling of a real impression; Ink strength controls how much. Stamped is the default. Choose "flat" when every document needs an identical mark.

How do I get the stamp onto a PDF?

Load the PDF and this PNG into the PDF stamp tool, where you can place it on any page at the size and opacity you want.
